Magna has opened a new mirrors factory in Rayong province, Thailand.

The new facility covers approximately 130,000 square feet.

The supplier said it plans to create 150 jobs at the plant over three years bringing the total to 570 at full production.

“We are providing a product that helps deliver visibility, safety and style in one package,” said Mirrors & Lighting president Jeff Hunt.

“We think beyond mirrors as just reflective surfaces and deliver industry leading exterior mirror products for automakers to differentiate themselves. We are grateful for the support received by local officials and the community of Rayong Province.”

The division produces exterior mirrors and components with turn signal, logo and ground illumination lamps, blind zone modules and actuators.
